TLC is underway, and this title match is in the books.
The New Wyatt Family–that is, Bray Wyatt and Randy Orton–defeated American Alpha on Tuesday to become #1 contenders for the Tag Team Championships. The only thing more unlikely than the team of Heath Slater and Rhyno is their run on top of the tag division, and the New Wyatts established themselves as the top dogs of WWE at Survivor Series. The outcome of tonight’s title match seemed assured, but who ultimately reigned victorious?
It was, as we expected, a one-sided affair in favor of the Wyatts. Slater and Rhyno managed a bit of offense, but they were stuffed down in short order by the Wyatts–with the help of Luke Harper at ringside. Ultimately, Orton RKO’d Rhyno to allow Bray to pick up the pinfall victory. The whole of the New Wyatt Family celebrated with Tag Team Championships in hand–and Orton even allowed Harper a moment to shine, ingratiating himself to his new hosts.
