The Bullet Club may only truly exist in Japan, but the faction has slowly but surely taken over pro wrestling worldwide. AJ Styles is now WWE World Champion, Finn Balor–or Prince Devitt, if you prefer–was Universal Champion, and Gallows & Anderson are poised to take the Tag Team Championships very soon. And hey, that’s just in WWE.

In their native promotion of New Japan Pro Wrestling, Kenny Omega has stepped up as leader of the Bullet Club, and he’s now teasing their latest member to be announced soon.

A “monster” who “devours” opponents? Speculation is rampant that this latest addition is Ryback, who had a messy break-up with WWE earlier this year. The Big Guy has always been hungry–so to speak–for new competition, and has expressed interest in hitting Japan.

Wrestling fans will naturally be skeptical of how successful Ryback will be with Japan’s highly athletic style, but many big men have proven they’ve got more than size by wrestling in the land of the rising sun.

It will also be interesting to see how Ryback would be billed in Japan, as his disputes with WWE over both his ring name and “the Big Guy” moniker have been quite public.

Of course, this is all speculation based on a single tweet, but Omega certainly understands the implications of what’s been said.
