A WWE World Heavyweight Championship Fatal 4 Way Match Will Take Place at "Battleground"

A WWE World Heavyweight Championship Fatal 4 Way Match will take place at “Battleground.” The match was announced during the June 30 edition of “Monday Night Raw” by the Authority, and the participants in the match will be WWE World Heavyweight Champion John Cena, Kane, Randy Orton, and Roman Reigns.

Cena won the championship during the 2014 “Money In The Bank” PPV, defeating seven other superstars in a massive Ladder Match for the title. Reigns, Orton, and Kane were also participants in the Championship Ladder Match at “Money In The Bank.”

This is the first match made official for WWE “Battleground,” which will take place on July 20 and emanate from Tampa, Fla. While the Fatal 4 Way stipulation will make for a great match, many believe that the WWE Universe should already know the finish. WWE has already advertised Cena vs. Brock Lesnar for August’s “SummerSlam” event, and most believe that match will not happen without the WWE World Heavyweight Championship being on the line.
