Update on Brie Bella's Whereabouts Since "Quitting" WWE

At the “WWE Payback” special event earlier this month, Brie Bella “quit” World Wrestling Entertainment during an in-ring segment with Stephanie McMahon and Daniel Bryan.

McMahon forced Bryan into either relinquishing his WWE World Heavyweight Championship or watch as she fires his wife Brie. Rather than have her husband make a difficult decision, Brie slapped McMahon and quit on her own merit.

Since that time, Brie has been by Bryan’s side as he rehabs from a recent neck surgery. The two tied the knot back in April.

The camera crew from “WWE Total Divas” has been on hand throughout the entire process. Footage of the two will be used for the next season of the show.

Rumors continue to circulate over a possible Stephanie McMahon vs. Brie Bella match somewhere down the road when she does return to television.

Chances are we won’t be seeing Brie until Bryan returns from his injury. No matter. She’s by his side and supporting her husband during such a difficult period.
