A new edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter has revealed that WWE wants Ric Flair to star in the second season of “Legends House” on the WWE Network. While Hulk Hogan’s name is also being discussed, the company apparently wants Flair to be the big draw of the program’s second season.
As we previously reported, WWE is currently working on establishing “Legends House: Season Two.” The new season of programming would feature an entire new cast of WWE Legends living, working, laughing, and arguing together.
Back in late-March and early-April, Hogan was rumored to be the big name that WWE was wanting to “headline” the show’s cast. However, as of May 7, Flair is reportedly the Legend that WWE wants to use in order to draw a bigger audience to the program.
WWE is desperately still trying to get new subscribers for the WWE Network, offering referral rewards and free week trials. Following the boost in ratings that “Monday Night Raw” had when promoting an appearance by “The Nature Boy” himself, WWE officials likely want to use that name power for a WWE Network program like “WWE Legends House.” They figure if Flair’s name alone draws big numbers to “RAW,” that maybe his name and involvement with “Legends House” will draw people to sign-up for the Network.
Editor’s Note:
Flair is a god among men. I can only imagine the drunken drama that will ensue on that program if he is the star. I’m already a WWE Network subscriber, but if Flair is featured in the second season of “Legends House,” where do I sign-up?
