Multiple reports claim that WWE officials are unhappy with former creative team member and writer Kevin Marshall. As previously reported, Marshall has disclosed “inner-company” information about WWE’s creative process in recent interviews, which has created some massive heat on the former employee.
Marshall even claimed that Vince McMahon “micromanages everything to death,” which definitely put a chip on WWE’s proverbial shoulder. Due to his recent comments, the company may take legal action against their former employee.
WWE has always tried to keep insider information about the company’s creative process behind closed doors. Their belief is that if everyone knew how WWE Creative worked, then it could upset talent, damage relationships, and reveal certain directions the company plans to take in the future.
According to reports, those currently working on WWE’s creative team are paying very close attention to this situation. WWE officials believe that Marshall violated a confidentiality agreement that he signed upon being hired with the company. This agreement is then discussed again in an employee’s release papers after being let go.
Disclosing trade secrets and violating a nondisclosure agreement is a serious offense to World Wrestling Entertainment. This is why many behind-the-scenes believe legal action may be coming swiftly for Mr. Marshall.
Editor’s Note:
Uh-oh dude. You said McMahon micromanages everything to death and threw him under the creative bus. Time to pay up.
