Chris Jericho recently ended his latest run in WWE, losing to Randy Orton at the “Night of Champions” pay-per-view on Sept. 21. Jericho has now begun promotion of his new autobiography, and has returned to a more full-time tour schedule with his rock band Fozzy.

Soon after his departure from WWE, Jericho noted on his “Talk is Jericho” podcast that he would return “sooner than you think.” He also opened up about how he was originally slated to face Seth Rollins at “Night of Champions,” but Vince McMahon stepped in, changing the match. Jericho’s words echo continued reports of McMahon micromanaging.

It appears that Jericho wasn’t blowing smoke about his WWE status, as WWE.com has begun advertising Jericho for notable events in the month of November. Jericho is advertised for certain WWE live events on its tour of Europe in November of this year, specifically Nov. 15 and Nov. 10.

Additionally, Jericho is scheduled to appear at a “Smackdown” taping on Nov. 11. The show emanates from Liverpool, England at the Liverpool Echo Arena.

Editor’s Note

Wow. That is indeed a lot sooner than I would have expected, presuming Jericho does return to television. When he first said, “sooner than you think,” I was looking at Jericho returning in January.
