New reports have provided an update on Summer dates that Brock Lesnar is expected to work for WWE. As previously reported, Lesnar is expected to return to WWE television as early as June 15 and is rumored to be sticking around until “SummerSlam” on August 23.
Official listings for Lesnar appearances have the former WWE World Heavyweight Champion, as well as his advocate Paul Heyman, returning to “Monday Night Raw” on June 22. However, Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter claims that Heyman and Lesnar may return to WWE TV on June 15, one night removed from the 2015 edition of “Money In The Bank.”
Lesnar is officially advertised to appear during the following WWE events,
6/22 – Indianapolis, IN (“RAW”)
7/4 – Tokyo, Japan (WWE Network Special)
7/6 – Chicago, IL (“RAW”)
7/13 – Atlanta, GA (“RAW”)
7/19 – St Louis, MO (WWE “Battleground” PPV)
7/20 – Kansas City, MO (“RAW”)
8/3 – San Jose, CA (“RAW”)
8/17 – Minneapolis, MN (“RAW”)
While Lesnar has yet to be advertised for “SummerSlam,” he is expected to work a match at the annual August PPV event, which will take place on August 23 in Brooklyn, New York. It is likely that if Lesnar works “SummerSlam” on August 23, that he will also work the following evening’s edition of “Monday Night Raw,” as it will also take place in the same arena as “SummerSlam” the night prior, Brooklyn’s Barclays Center.
Editor’s Note:
Would be interesting to see where Lesnar fits into “SummerSlam” plans. Hmmm.
