The latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter has provided an update on Ryback and what kind of injury he has. As previously reported, Ryback is suffering from some sort of injury and will be out-of-action for a few weeks.

There are contradicting stories on this matter, as it was previously reported from PWInsider.com that many backstage are under the assumption that Ryback is not actually injured, while Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer claims that his source says “The Big Guy” does have a legitimate issue.

Meltzer claims that Ryback has suffered a “lower body injury that is still being evaluated.” He goes on to corroborate the report given during the Aug. 26 edition of WWE “Main Event,” stating that Ryback should be back in the ring sometime in September.

Regardless as to if the injury is storyline related, or is legitimate, do not expect “The Big Guy” on WWE TV until September or shortly thereafter.

Editor’s Note:
Looks like sources for both of these popular sites are unsure of what’s going on. WrestlingRumors.net will continue to provide updates on “The Big Guy” as they become available.
