A Triple Threat Match for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship may occur at WrestleMania XXX. According to RopebreakWrestling.com, WWE officials may be making drastic changes to their plans for both the “Elimination Chamber” and WrestleMania XXX Pay-Per-Views. These changes would include Daniel Bryan winning the WWE World Heavyweight Championship before WrestleMania and a Triple Threat Match being added to the card featuring Bryan, Randy Orton, and Batista.

After the outpouring of negative reaction both during, and following Sunday’s “Royal Rumble” PPV, rumors are now circulating the internet claiming WWE officials are discussing any and all possible ways that the company can save face. One of the ways mulled over by WWE officials, and the WWE Creative team alike, includes pulling a 180 on all WWE World Heavyweight Championship plans going forward on the “Road to WrestleMania.”

As of Jan. 28, the upper-brass of the company is seriously considering having Daniel Bryan defeat five other men in the upcoming Elimination Chamber Match, altering the company’s original course for ‘Mania by making Bryan the WWE World Heavyweight Champion. With Bryan being victorious at the “Elimination Chamber” PPV, some WWE officials believe this will give the WWE Universe something that they want, and provide big numbers for the Feb. 24 edition of “Monday Night Raw,” which will air the following night.

Feb. 24 will prove to be a monumental day for World Wrestling Entertainment, as the highly anticipated WWE Network will launch just after “Monday Night Raw” comes to an end. WWE officials understand this and have been organizing the card for “RAW” with a lot of star power in order to make the day seem even more important.

With names like Hulk Hogan already being rumors to return during the Feb. 24 episode of “Monday Night Raw,” it is obvious that the company wants to pull every punch imaginable to keep their fan base’s attention leading into the launch. The thought backstage in support of Bryan winning the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at the “Elimination Chamber” just one night before this projected historic day for the company, is that he would pull big numbers for the opening hour of “RAW,” luring fans into flipping the channel to USA Network as bait for the various hooks that will be revealed throughout the remainder of the program.

With Bryan as the company’s champion, it is believed that WWE would then set up WrestleMania XXX’s main event as a Triple Threat Match between Bryan, Orton, and Batista. One of the major concerns backstage currently is that the originally penned main event featuring Batista and Randy Orton would garner and extremely negative reaction from a seemingly worked-up WrestleMania crowd in New Orleans.

The plan being discussed would see Bryan capture WWE World Heavyweight gold at “Elimination Chamber,” pitting him against the 2014 Royal Rumble winner Batista on the “grandest stage of them all.” Then, Orton would invoke his rematch clause and place himself in the main event, establishing the Triple Threat Match and, in WWE’s mind, hopefully sweeten the sour taste recently left in the WWE Universe’s collective mouth.
