A title change may happen at “NXT Takeover 2.” According to the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE executives are discussing taking the NXT Women’s Championship off of current title holder Charlotte, so that she may arrive on the WWE main roster as soon as possible.

Charlotte is one of a few NXT superstars that WWE executives want to “fast track” to the main roster soon. The thought is that Charlotte would drop the title to Bayley on Sept. 11, in order for her to be able to debut on WWE television soon there after.

The daughter of two-time WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair, Charlotte stole the show with Natalya during NXT’s most recent special event, “NXT Takeover.” That match saw Charlotte become NXT Women’s Champion for the first time, and she had held the strap ever since.

Along with Charlotte, WWE officials are wanting to move up Kalisto, NXT Tag Team Champions The Ascension, Adrian Neville, and Sami Zayn, though Zayn may be the last on the list. Zayn is the favorite to win the Fatal 4 Way match for the NXT Championship at “NXT Takeover 2,” allowing him to finally achieve his number one goal since debuting for NXT in 2013.

Being a special event, all NXT titles could theoretically change hands during “NXT Takeover 2.” The program will air live on the WWE Network on Sept. 11.

ALL of the above are ready for TV. Bring em up!
