WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels will appear at the 2015 “Royal Rumble” event. According to WWE Hall of Famer Booker T, Michaels will be interviewed by the six-time World Heavyweight Champion before the event begins during the WWE “Royal Rumble Kick-Off Show.”

Booker T made the announcement via his official Twitter account, saying,

Michaels won two different Royal Rumble matches in 1995 and 1996. In ’95, Michaels was the first WWE superstar to enter the annual 30-man over-the-top-rope Battle Royal at number one and still be victorious. He also set new grounds during that match, as he dangled above the ground after being tossed over the ropes, only allowing one foot to hit the floor, creating the “Shawn Michaels rule,” which says that both feet have to hit the floor before elimination.

Along with Michaels making an appearance, a Six-Man Tag Team Match will also be featured during the WWE “Royal Rumble Kick-Off Show.” Adam Rose, Cesaro, and Tyson Kidd will face off against The New Day, which consists of Kofi Kingston, Big E, and Xavier Woods. The “Royal Rumble Kick-Off Show” begins on the WWE Network at 7 p.m. ET on Jan. 25.

Editor’s Note:
Stoked for the Rumble this Sunday. The undercard is VERY underwhelming, but man…the main event and the Rumble match itself are intriguing. I’m excited.
