TRIPLE H / STEPHANIE MCMAHON / BABY FACES segment: MARKED OUT!

Triple H and Steph confront the 10 men that ran out to save Daniel Bryan the previous week from a Randy Orton/Shield attack. They put all of them in a match WITH Daniel Bryan to face the Shield, and that would be the main event.

I loved the energy here…but the logic threw me off. The heel team, the security for your Regime, are the victims in an elimination tag match against 11 babyface characters? Weird. This just isn’t professional wrestling booking. I can only hope that this gets addressed later in the storyline, the logic behind booking like this.

My thoughts are that Triple H is going to go full blown heel and swerve the fans at some point, and right now we’re getting back and forth from him to try and throw us off. At the announcement of the main event during this segment however, I was aggravated with the booking. Just couldn’t understand it. NEXT!

What a great match. As the first bout of the night, the Chicago crowd was hot for it. Good action from both superstars, but the cross arm-breaker took the cake.

Del Rio consistently has great matches. If only he connected to the crowd more. He needs to use more outrageously heelish tactics and get the crowd to overly hate him so that he’s more useful than what he is right now.

THE WYATT FAMILY def. PRIME TIME PLAYERS: MARKED OUT!

Finally, a match that showcases how good Erick Rowan and Luke Harper can be. This was a great match between some BIG freakin’ dudes, and a TAG match at that. I enjoyed it.
