Dolph Ziggler vs Dean Ambrose for the US Championship Set for Friday’s Smackdown

The WWE United States Championship will be on the line during this Friday night’s episode of Smackdown. Champion Dean Ambrose will face number-one contender Dolph Ziggler during this week’s show.

Ziggler earned his shot at Ambrose and the US title by defeating Ambrose on the September 16th edition of Monday Night Raw. Ziggler last had a shot at the United States Championship at WWE Night of Champions, but was unsuccessful at winning the strap, as Ambrose pinned Ziggler clean to retain his title.
