The WWE has released its key performance indicators for August 2013, and the numbers for SummerSlam, which took place on August 18th, aren’t pretty.

According to the report, WWE SummerSlam 2013 took in an average of 298,000 worldwide buys, which is a huge drop from the 350,000+ buys the show had the year before.

SummerSlam 2011 had 296,000 buys, while SummerSlam 2010 had 350,000.

The card this year featured John Cena defending the WWE Championship against Daniel Bryan and CM Punk going one on one with Brock Lesnar.
