A Divas Championship Match set to take place on Sept. 21 at “Night Of Champions” will be announced during the Sept. 5 edition of “Smackdown.” WWE CBO Stephanie McMahon will make the announcement.

Following the ruckus segment between Nikki and Brie Bella, AJ Lee, McMahon, and Divas Champion Paige during the Sept. 1 edition of “Monday Night Raw,” McMahon is set to make a match for the title official. Paige will defend her title at “Night Of Champions” against both Lee and Nikki Bella in a Triple Threat Match.

Paige and Lee have been battling for months in regards to who should be deemed the true Divas Champion. However, Nikki Bella’s recent heel turn, which is being orchestrated merely for the cameras of “Total Divas,” has positioned her as an alliance to McMahon’s Authority faction.

McMahon announced during the Sept. 1 edition of “Monday Night Raw” that Nikki Bella is now the No. 1 Contender for the Divas Championship. This report did not sit well with Lee, who made her way to the ring and said that she wanted to initiate her rematch clause for the title. With Lee interjecting herself into the fold once more, it looks like Paige will have her work cut out for her at “Night Of Champions,” as she does not have to be pinned of submitted to lose her precious Divas title.

“Night Of Champions” will take place on Sept. 21.

Editor’s Note:
Makes the Divas Title Match at NOC more interesting. I like this.
