Earlier on Thursday, Wrestling Rumors noted there was some initial backstage concern over Jeff Hardy’s status for the upcoming TNA “Bound For Glory” pay-per-view to take place in Japan in October due to his history of arrests. While Hardy is seemingly good to go, another major TNA name may not be.

TNA President Dixie Carter may be unavailable for the big show, reports the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.

Carter is said to be banged up after being put through a table at the hands of Bully Ray, who appears to be on his way out of the company, at the TNA New York television tapings over the summer. TNA spoiled the angle on its website and promotionally before it aired, which paid off in terms of viewership. She may be unable to make the long flight to Japan because of the injuries.

It is said Carter, who is not used to taking bumps, landed hard on the mat after the table she was being put through failed to break her fall. The extent of her injuries is unknown at this time.

Editor’s Note

Seriously…has anything gone RIGHT for the company this summer? Bad luck, man…
