The latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter has provided further details on Vince McMahon’s rule regarding the Divas Championship and “Total Divas.” As previously reported, McMahon does not allow cast members of the reality show to become Divas Champion. However, it was reported previously that Brie Bella dropped this bit of information in public, but it was not. It was Cameron.

Cameron, real name Ariane Andrew, is the one that claimed the cast members were fighting this rule during her appearance on “Talk is Jericho.” During the podcast, Andrew said, “The whole thing we have been fighting is being on the show, not being able to have a chance at the title.”

This rule had been rumor prior to Cameron’s disclosure of such information. Most believe the reason this rule exists is because the company does not want confusion between the champion, championship, and the delayed airing of the show. If someone wins the title on “Monday Night Raw” from the program, but the show is featuring things that happened months prior, there may be some disassociation.

Editor’s Note:
Well…good luck capturing that title now…while sitting in the soon-to-be-unemployed spot. “COUNT IT REF!”
