CM Punk Injured During Monday Night RAW; Stitches Required

WWE.com has provided an update on former WWE Champion CM Punk who was injured during a segment with Brock Lesnar Monday night on RAW. Punk’s chin was lacerated during the altercation between the two men, which lead to the “Second City Saint” requiring 4 stitches.

Punk has been banged up constantly throughout 2013, especially during his current program with Lesnar. The two are set to face off against each other at SummerSlam on August 18th, in a match being deemed, “The Best vs. The Beast.” Before Punk faces Lesnar, he is set to face off against his former “best friend” and representative Paul Heyman this coming Monday night on RAW.
