According to a report by Variety.com, a sequel to the 2006 WWE film “See No Evil” is in the works.

Jen and Sylvia Soska (“American Mary”) are set to direct.

“See No Evil” was the first film ever produced by WWE Studios. The movie grossed $18,420,968 worldwide, which puts it third behind “The Marine” and “The Call” for the most money earned by a WWE film.

WWE superstar Kane is set to reprise his role as madman Jacob Goodnight. In the sequel, Goodnight will rise from the dead in a city morgue and go after a group of medical students who are looking to avoid dying at the hands of the vicious psychopath.

Lionsgate will handle worldwide distribution of “See No Evil 2”.

Production on the film is set to begin this fall.
