According to fan reports and videos posted to Youtube.com from Jan. 24’s Wizard World Comic-Con in Portland, Ore., CM Punk expressed a lot of the frustrations he has with World Wrestling Entertainment openly and honestly just four days before he supposedly walked away from the company.

Punk says Sting doesn’t have anything left in the tank and should not be brought in to work for WWE. During Punk’s most recent public forum, “The Best in the World” reportedly discussed how he dislikes the company bringing in former talent such as Batista or Sting because they take the spots of hard-working WWE talent that have been performing for the company day in and day out. He also claimed that he was frustrated with the direction of the company because he feels as if WWE officials are not in touch with their current audience.

Punk further explains his frustrations with the company’s management saying that the amount of writers, and how WWE Creative books programs and matches is severely unorganized. He claims that nothing is booked long term, and most of the ideas for programs and feuds come on a day-to-day basis, revealing that

Punk also disclosed to the crowd that he’s been dealing with an illness since September of 2013. He’s been having weekly blood work and various other tests done, but the medical team cannot seem to figure out what is wrong. He did state that after he began eating meat again he did start to feel a little better, but that he has yet to recover from whatever he’s been suffering from completely.

However, Punk appeared to be in a good mood during the event, although fatigue and discomfort were also apparent. Punk even joked about how beat up and tired he is, saying that he was ready to do nothing but sit on his couch. The travel was something Punk touched on, saying that he was tired of how strenuous his work schedule is and that he is never able to visit the sites in each city WWE lands in anyway, it’s just work, work, work.

An interest in competing for the UFC does exist for Punk. He claims that he’d love to do it if his body would allow it, but as of right now he is not in any kind of shape to compete in the octagon. He also revealed to the fans in attendance that he has a lot of money saved up, having not really spent much of what he’s earned during his eight year tenure with WWE. And in what could have been a tell-tale sign, he told the crowd that he wasn’t worried about receiving any paychecks from here on out.

Punk reportedly walked out on WWE just before the Jan. 27 episode of “Monday Night Raw” was set to broadcast live. According to reports, Punk told Vince McMahon and a slew of WWE officials gathered in a meeting before the show that he was going home, and hasn’t had any contact with them since.
