Brock Lesnar is not scheduled to compete again until WrestleMania XXX. In a report from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Lesnar is not expected to work February’s “Elimination Chamber” Pay-Per-View, and is currently still booked to face the Undertaker on the “grandest stage of them all” in New Orleans on April 6.
In a new weekly exposé with Michael Cole, WWE COO Triple H explains Lesnar’s exclusion from the WWE World Heavyweight Championship Elimination Chamber Match by saying that he simply refused the invitation to compete. According to the storyline, Lesnar feels like he is greater than the Chamber match, and is the number one competitor for the title no matter what.
Lesnar is expected to be seen on WWE television, but will not physically work a match until WrestleMania XXX. He has limited dates on his contract that he is expected to work, so the company will likely continue to use the former WWE Champion sparingly.
It is uncertain as to how the rumored Streak Match between Lesnar and the Undertaker will be promoted or built towards, or where Lesnar’s involvement with Batista, The Authority, Randy Orton, and the WWE World Heavyweight Championship will wind up going, but the man that sleeps, eats, conquers, and repeats is currently not expected to don his boots and Jimmy Johns shorts again until April 6.
