A new report from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter has revealed details regarding Batista’s current WWE contract. According to the newsletter, the rumors of Batista’s contract being a two-year, full-time deal were correct, and “The Animal” will be working for WWE until 2016.

As we previously reported, Batista is expected to work full-time throughout the next two years. This situation obviously  differs from the contracts given to other returning superstars such as Brock Lesnar, The Rock, and Rob Van Dam.  “The Animal” will be competing on WWE television, Pay-Per-View, and he will be working various WWE Live Events.

Batista is expected to miss only a few dates throughout the length of his contact. He will be taking those days off to promote the movies that filmed prior to returning to the company, including the projected Summer blockbuster produced by Marvel, “Guardians of the Galaxy.”

A heel turn is expected very soon for “The Animal,” who is expected to also capture the WWE World Heavyweight Championship sometime in the near future.
