The Memorial Day episode of Monday Night Raw is being advertised as “Bret Hart Appreciation Night.” Many times when the WWE advertises appreciation nights, the segments air following the broadcast as a dark segment. Bret Hart’s appreciation night is reportedly making it onto the live 3-hour broadcast at some point. Shawn Michaels, quite possibly Hart’s biggest WWE rival during their careers, is also being advertised for the event.
The Memorial Day Raw will air on May 27th from Calgary, Alberta, Canada, Hart’s home town. Hart will of course be on the program during the segment, and possibly more throughout the night. Hart will be moving slowly like he was during the Rock/Cena “Legends Debate,” as he is still rehabbing a knee replacement that he had done in February. There’s no certainty that Shawn Michaels will be involved during the “appreciation night” segment, but he is scheduled to be on the program.
