Former TNA World Heavyweight Champion AJ Styles claims his departure from TNA is real. Styles recently told F4Wonline.com that he is frustrated by online reports, and messages from fans, that claim he is still employed by TNA and that his abandon of the company is merely part of a storyline.

Styles states that he is currently a free agent, and that his decision to not re-sign with TNA Wrestling was real and not part of any angle with the company. As we previously reported, Styles announced that he was done with TNA Wrestling on Dec. 16. Reports immediately followed that speculated on whether Styles was actually finished with TNA, or if this was all part of a big angle that the company would be working until Styles returns to TNA television.

Styles goes on to tell F4Wonline.com that he did not burn any bridges with TNA and can see himself returning sometime in the future, but that he expects to mainly work for Ring of Honor for the time being.
