“Stone Cold” Steve Austin, who recently celebrated his 49th birthday on Dec. 18 of 2013, may not step in the squared circle for one last match. Austin, whose last match with WWE came over ten years ago at WrestleMania XIX against The Rock, will reportedly not wrestle at WrestleMania XXX, according to PWInsider.

The website’s report states that the current word backstage regarding Austin is that if he were to appear at WrestleMania XXX, it would not be as an active wrestler. WrestleMania XXX will occur on April 6, 2014 at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, La.

In the past Austin has talked privately about returning to the ring for a match with WWE superstar CM Punk. However, according to PWInsider, Punk is currently slated to face Triple H at the pay-per-view. Along with that, word within WWE is that Austin has not been receptive towards working a match. With Austin set to turn fifty next year, the window may be rapidly closing for the “Texas Rattlesnake” to give the WWE Universe one more match.
