Next week “Monday Night Raw” will go back in time as the Old School edition of the program will air live on Jan. 6, 2014. In what will be the first “Monday Night Raw” of the new year, Ric Flair, Diamond Dallas Page, Bob Backlund, Irwin R Shcyster, Ted Dibiase Sr., Gene Okerlund, Booker T, “Rowdy” Roddy Piper, Rikishi, Scotty 2 Hotty, and the New Age Outlaws have been advertised to appear.

Along with those legends who were previously advertised to appear, the legendary Dusty Rhodes is now being advertised for the show. Rhodes is currently working as a booker and producer for WWE’s NXT developmental territory. His last appearance on WWE programming was at the inaugural WWE Battleground, where he watched his two sons, Cody Rhodes and Goldust, re-obtain jobs with WWE by defeating Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns. Along with that, their victory helped Dusty retain his job at NXT.

WWE Hall of Famer and former commentator Jim Ross revealed his status for the event in a recent Q&A update on his website, JRsBarBq.com.

Ross responded with the following to a fan who asked if he’d be in attendance for Old School RAW:

“Very unlikely.”
