Tonight’s episode of Raw emanates from the Century Link Center in Omaha, Nebraska. Here’s what we can expect for tonight’s Labor Day show:

Big Show to battle Braun Strowman in a Steel Cage Match

Steel Cage match set for Monday's Raw with Braun Strowman facing off against Big Show

In preparation for his match with Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship at “No Mercy,” Braun Strowman will take on The Big Show in a steel cage on “Raw.” When I first heard about this match, it seemed very random and thrown together; however I have to guess that Strowman will go over here. He needs to be booked very strong over the next few weeks, so that he remains a legitimate threat to “The Beast.”

Will Jeff Hardy become a five-time Intercontinental Champion on Raw?

15-Man Battle Royal - Winner Faces The Miz for the Intercontinental Title: Raw, Aug. 28, 2017

Last week on “Raw,” Jeff Hardy won a Battle Royal to earn the right to challenge The Miz for the Intercontinental Championship on this week’s show. I hope that this the beginning of allowing The Hardy Boyz the opportunity to consistently challenge for singles titles, as well as continue to build toward the debut of the “broken” characters in WWE.

All that being said, I don’t think that it’s time for The Miz to lose his title, and that he will retain in what will be an outstanding contest.

Can we expect more fireworks between John Cena and Roman Reigns?

Hear every blistering insult from John Cena and Roman Reigns' controversial confrontation in FULL

In the most talked about segment of WWE programming this week, Roman Reigns and John Cena delivered a deeply personal and passionate promo on last week’s show. I wrote an opinion piece about this last week, but I believe that Roman should talk less and let his stellar work in the ring speak for itself. He can claim to be the wrestler, while Cena can claim to be the talker.

I think that the two superstars should continue to have awkward encounters for the next couple of weeks, until it all blows up in one final promo and brawl on “Raw” two weeks from now.

Nia Jax makes major Raw Women’s Championship statement

Sasha Banks vs. Alexa Bliss - Raw Women's Championship Match: Raw, Aug. 28, 2017

The closing segment of “Raw” last week featured the crowning of a new champion, as Alexa Bliss recaptured the Women’s Championship that she lost at “SummerSlam,” from Sasha Banks. However, the night was not over, as Nia Jax came down to the ring and laid out both Bliss and Banks.

This has been the plan all along, in my opinion, and so having Bliss take the title back is just fine. I’m not sure if the match between her and Jax for the title will be made this week, but it will be soon.

What’s next for Emma?

Emma on why Bayley and Sasha Banks should thank her: Raw Fallout, Aug. 28, 2017

That is a good question. I have been a fan of her work for a long time, and I hope that she gets the opportunity to have a high powered feud in the fall. Perhaps pairing her with “The Boss” would be a good way to get Emma some experience with a veteran and one of the best in the business right now.
