During a recent edition of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer and Bryan Alvarez noted that the long-rumored match between Kevin Owens and SmackDown Live commissioner Shane McMahon could happen at the Hell in a Cell pay-per-view on October 8 in Detroit, Michigan.

There’s typically more than one match inside the actual Cell at WWE’s annual October show, and whether or not Shane vs. Owens actually takes place inside the Cell remains to be seen. If it does, WWE fans will likely expect Shane to do something similar to what he did in his match with The Undertaker at WrestleMania 32.

Meltzer and Alvarez also noted that the feud may lead to a Survivor Series match between Shane and Owens, where each man captains their own team.
