On Sunday, September 24, Brock Lesnar will defend the Universal Championship against Braun Strowman at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California.

As of right now, the planned main event for next year’s WrestleMania is Brock Lesnar vs. Roman Reigns for the Universal Championship, which means that Lesnar will defeat Strowman at No Mercy later this month.

According to Cageside Seats, WWE is going to do everything they can to protect Braun Strowman in his loss to Lesnar. In other words, a loss to Lesnar doesn’t mean that WWE is no longer pushing him, or that they’re “burying” him.

Braun Strowman was left off of last week’s Raw show, but he will return on tonight’s show, as he’s scheduled to go one on one with the Big Show in a steel cage match.

Brock Lesnar will not be on tonight’s Raw, so don’t expect him to get involved in the Strowman vs. Big Show match tonight.
