Second chances don’t always end with different results.

Former WWE “Tough Enough” contestant Zamariah “ZZ” Loupe was recently injured at the NXT Performance Center during a training session, and will be out of action for about 6 weeks. The injury appears to have come from a miscommunication, but most of the blame is being put on ZZ himself.

ZZ was the male runner-up in this past season of “Tough Enough,” losing to Josh Bredl in the season finale. However, ZZ was one of several contestants that WWE decided to sign to developmental deals as well, as they felt that he was very charismatic and had a lot to offer the company.

After this incident however, the talk backstage is that ZZ does not have a bright future in WWE. This is not the first time that the brass have felt this way, as officials reportedly wanted him eliminated from the show early on in the process.

Editor’s Note:

Seeing this news brings back memories from this summer when I would watch “Tough Enough.” I have to admit that I always liked ZZ, but there was no question he appeared to be a liability in the ring. This incident seems to have confirmed those thoughts, and it might be time for him to move on to a different line of work.
