The rumors were true. The Vigilante” has returned.
As Seth Rollins was preparing to have a bronze statue of him unveiled, Sting appeared under the curtain draped over it, attacking the WWE World Heavyweight and United States Champion while sending The Authority out of the squared circle. The show ended with Sting holding up the WWE World Heavyweight Championship belt and pointing to Rollins.

On the WWE Network following “Raw,” Triple H announced that Sting will get his opportunity at the title, as he will go one-on-one with Seth Rollins in the main event of “Night of Champions” at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas, on Sept. 20.

Sting was last seen in a WWE ring at WrestleMania earlier this year, when he lost to Triple H in his first match with the company.
Editor’s Note:
As a fan of wrestling for over 20 years, the nostalgia factor of seeing Sting win the WWE World Heavyweight Championship would be incredible. He looked fantastic on “Raw” tonight, and I have no doubt that he and Rollins could put on a spectacular match!
