The winner of this match, and NEW NXT Women’s Champion…….

During Saturday night’s “NXT Takeover: Brooklyn,” live from the Barclays Center, Bayley defeated “The Boss” Sasha Banks to become the new NXT Women’s Champion.

Stephanie McMahon came out to introduce the competitor’s for one of the night’s main events, starting this match off with a big fight feel.

Banks and Bayley went back and forth for most of the match, putting on an amazing show for the Brooklyn crowd. At one point in the match, Banks tried to take advantage of Bayley’s injured hand. As previously reported, Bayley broke her hand back in June, and has been suffering effects of that over the last couple of weeks.

Banks then locked Bayley in the “Bank Statement,” causing Bayley to almost tap out. Bayley then reversed it, slapping Banks with her own move; Banks was able to reach the ropes to break the hold. Bayley then hit a reverse hurricanrana followed by the “Bayley-To-Belly” for the pinfall.

In a touching moment to end the match, Charlotte and Becky Lynch came down to the ring to celebrate. Then, Banks came back into the ring to celebrate Bayley’s victory with her fellow “Four Horsewomen.”

Bayley won several key matches over the last few weeks, propelling her into this NXT Women’s Championship match. Bayley first defeated both Charlotte and Emma in convincing fashion during recent editions of “NXT.” She then officially became the No.1 Contender for the NXT Women’s Champion by defeating Becky Lynch during the Aug. 12 edition of “NXT.”

Editor’s Note:

WOW……………………that match has left me speechless.
