As much as a positive the Divas Revolution has been for World Wrestling Entertainment, not everyone has been completely behind the rise of women’s wrestling in the company.

That was never more apparent than during “Monday Night Raw” on Aug. 24 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn when Team PCB (Paige, Charlotte, and Becky Lynch) faced Team Bella (Nikki Bella, Brie Bella, and Alicia Fox) in a six-Divas tag team match.

Chants of “JBL” and “We Are Awesome” echoed throughout the building, which is a blatant sign of disrespect to the competitors in the ring.

Paige posted the following tweet later in the night, although it was eventually deleted: “You helped us create change and then did your best to disrespect. Niceeeee jobbbbbbbb!”

Nikki and Brie were also ticked off with the reactions the bout received, taking to Instagram to voice their respective displeasure:

So proud of my Foxy @thefoxxyone but the Brooklyn crowd can kiss my ass! ???? #wwe #raw #teambella #divarevolution A photo posted by Brie Bella (@thebriebella) on

Alicia Fox, who picked up the pinfall in the match, approved of her comrades opinions:

Editor’s Note

It’s difficult for the ladies of WWE on occasion, as they have to continue proving night in and night out how vital the Divas Revolution is to the company. Brooklyn didn’t give a you know what about it last night, and that’s a shame.
