They have a home. According to multiple reports, WWE has reached an agreement with the USA Network to air Raw and Smackdown on the USA Network through the end of 2024.
Raw is currently scheduled to move to Netflix beginning in January 2025; however, their current deal with USA ends in October of this year. It was unclear what was going to be happening with the program in the 4th quarter. Furthermore, Smackdown will also be moving to the USA Network, once their TV deal with FOX ends in October of this year.
Raw is currently the No. 1 show on the USA Network, where it brings in 17.5 million unique viewers over the year. One of television’s best-performing shows in the 18-49 advertising demographic, Raw trends on Twitter/X 52 weeks a year while each new episode is airing.
Editor’s Opinion:
This is a win for everyone involved. It only makes sense for the USA Network to air, both of WWE’s flagship shows at the end of this year, which will allow a lot of cross-promotion for each brand. Furthermore, the USA Network could probably charge a lot of money to air Raw, as WWE was in a bit of a bind for the last couple of months of 2024.
