Sometimes, you need a little more. Randy Orton is currently scheduled to take on The Fiend this weekend at the 2020 TLC pay-per-view, in what should be a brutal contest. However, WWE felt that just pairing the two in a match together wasn’t enough, and as a result, they have upped the ante for this personal encounter.

The match between Randy Orton and The Fiend at TLC 2020 will now be the first-ever Firefly Inferno match, according to WWE.com. The two had a ‘heated’ encounter on this week’s episode of Raw; you can see the clip below:

From WWE.com:

Orton and Wyatt are no stranger to the destructive flames, as The Viper once sadistically burned down The Wyatt Family Compound. Last week, The Viper trapped Wyatt inside a burning box, but The Fiend emerged unscathed to punish Orton for his brutality. Now Orton will have to step inside The Fiend’s twisted inferno, and HE never forgets.

After The Fiend’s mind games cost Randy Orton an opportunity to once again compete for the WWE Championship, The Viper fired right back by taking hold of Alexa Bliss in an attempt to coax The Fiend during a tense installment of “A Moment of Bliss.”

The Fiend has changed every man to step into the ring with him, but Orton has proven time and again to be a different breed of Superstar? Can The Legend Killer walk through the fire or will The Fiend burn Orton for his past transgressions?

Editor’s Opinion:

I would have to think that this will end up being a pre-produced wrestling match, and I am all in for it. WWE’s production value on these types of matches in 2020 has been nothing short of remarkable and with these two iconic performers both having experience in these types of situations, this should be something that will be a spectacle that is must-see.
