It happens to everyone. You never know when you are going to see someone get put on the shelf. It might be a long term thing or it could be something simple, but the idea of someone getting injured is never a good sign. The best thing that you can hope for is that it isn’t serious, and this time around it is somewhere in the middle. That includes some time on the shelf though.

There are a ton of talented people in NXT and several of them get the chance to showcase themselves on the big stage every single week. That is quite the opportunity and several of them have made the most of it. One of the people who makes the most of it fairly regularly is going to be on the shelf for the next few weeks after he was bitten by the dreaded in jury bug.

It was announced this week on NXT that Cameron Grimes will be out of action for 4-6 weeks after suffering a leg injury at the hands of Timothy Thatcher on last week’s NXT. There is no word on if Grimes is legitimately injured or if this is a storyline. Grimes recently finished a feud with Dexter Lumis before losing to Tommaso Ciampa on last week’s show. Thatcher attacked Grimes after the match.

Enjoy him while you can. Check out how Grimes’ last match to date went:

Opinion: Dang it that is going to hurt, as Grimes really is one of the best things about NXT today. Not only is he good in the ring, but he can talk with the best of them and has more charisma than he knows what to do with. Hopefully he is back in a hurry because Grimes can do so many things for NXT. I could go for seeing a lot more of him, but at the moment I could go with just having him back on TV.

What do you think of Grimes? What can he do when he gets back? Let us know in the comments below.
