It looks like “The Viper” will not out of action longer than anticipated.
His current injury was slated to keep him out of action until after Wrestlemania 32, however, he will not undergo neck surgery until the doctors feel that he has recovered enough from the shoulder surgery. The neck surgery will keep him out of action for an additional 3-6 months, which could push Orton’s return date until near the end of 2016, or even into early 2017.
This news adds to the emotional roller coaster that Orton has been on recently, as he married his long-time girlfriend a couple of weeks ago.
Editor’s Note:
This is not good news for WWE. They are in desperate need of star power now, as many of their top stars, including John Cena, Seth Rollins and Daniel Bryan are out of action. Hopefully all will go well and we will see Orton back in the ring sooner rather than later, but only time will tell.
