Who says there’s no life after wrestling? In addition to his podcast, Ric Flair was a special guest picker on ESPN’s “College Gameday” today from Madison, Wisconsin. Flair, who picked Wisconsin over Ohio State in the day’s big game attended high school in Wisconsin and played college football for the University of Minnesota.

Flair has been busy since leaving the ring as an active competitor, managing his daughter Charlotte for several months, hosting his podcast (where he claimed to have slept with actress Halle Berry) and making various promotional appearances for WWE. It’s not clear when Flair will be back on WWE TV though there’s always the possibility of an appearance to tie up loose ends with Charlotte.

I’m not the biggest Flair fan in the world but I’m glad that he seems to be happy. Flair is someone who people are always going to want to listen to as he’s such a ball of energy and knows how to crank up the charm. Couple that with a perfect catchphrase and an appeal to multiple generations and it’s easy to see why various shows like this would bring him in for appearances.
