This could be related to the fact that “The Big Guy” was recently sent home from WWE, following a contract dispute between him and Vince McMahon. He would go on to write a lengthy blog post following the incident, stating that he feels that the performers should be paid equally, no matter who wins or loses. Apparently, if you win a match, you receive higher compensation than if you lose, even though the outcome is pre-determined.
It had also been previously reported that one of the major gripes that Ryback has with WWE, is the fact that they don’t provide transportation or lodging for most of their superstars when they perform in various cities around the country. All WWE superstars are independently contracted, and are only paid for their work at each show. They are responsible for providing everything else for them to get to where they need to go.
Editor’s Note:
I don’t know if this means the end of Ryback in WWE, but I would think that this doesn’t look good for him. I do feel that “The Big Guy” could make a very good living on the independent scene, as everything would be provided for him, in addition for his fee for performing in the ring. This is a very interesting story, and we’ll see where things go in the next few weeks.
