“The Devil’s Favorite Demon” will be walking through hell, fire and brimstone to get to his couch this evening.

WWE superstar Kane was scheduled to make his return to “Monday Night Raw” this evening in Baltimore, Maryland. However, with Sting now scheduled to be on the show, the company has decided to hold off on Kane’s return so that it will have more impact when he does make an appearance.

Kane was last seen on WWE programming on the July 13 edition of “Raw.” His ankle was shattered by Brock Lesnar in a brawl that ensued between the two superstars following a contract signing between Lesnar and Seth Rollins for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at “Battleground.” This allowed him to be written off of television so that he could film WWE studio’s upcoming motion picture “6:42,” which also features Dolph Ziggler.

Sting made his return to WWE TV on the August 24 edition of “Raw,” attacking The Authority in the final segment of the show. In addition, he appeared on last week’s show and cut a promo for his upcoming match against Seth Rollins for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at “Night of Champions.”

Editor’s Note:

When Kane does return, it needs to be with the mask on. The “Corporate Kane” gimmick just doesn’t work for him, and makes him look weak and frail, in my opinion.
