6-Man Tag Team Match Confirmed for WWE “Night of Champions”

It’s time for former Shield members Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns to seek assistance in their war against The Wyatt Family.

At WWE “Night of Champions” on Sept. 20 in Houston, it will be Ambrose, Reigns, and a partner of their choosing against Bray Wyatt, Luke Harper, and Braun Strowman.

Per WWE.com:

“Now, with Night of Champions approaching, how will Ambrose and Reigns fare as this ongoing Hatfield and McCoy’s-like conflict continue? Will the former Shield brethren and their third be able to break the aura of invincibility that currently surrounds Braun Strowman? Or will Sister’s Abigal’s black sheep give The Eater of Worlds a definitive edge in this wicked war?”

The Five-Point Preview for “Monday Night Raw” next week is teasing that the third man will be revealed, although it’s unknown who that individual will be at this time.

At WWE “SummerSlam,” it was Ambrose and Reigns emerging victorious over Wyatt and Harper in tag-team action, with the behemoth Strowman debuting the following night on “Raw.”

Editor’s Note

My guess is as good as yours in terms of who the mystery man will be. The two gentlemen at the top of the list have to be a returning Erick Rowan and Randy Orton – if only because it looks like he’ll be without a dance partner at the pay-per-view otherwise.
