It has been previously reported that current WWE analyst and hall of famer Booker T will be entering the political arena, as he prepares to run for the office of mayor of the city of Houston in 2020.

Booker T recently appeared on Fox Business and recounted the time that he met current  president-elect of the United States, Donald Trump.

“I actually met Donald Trump and shook his hand and looked him in the eye and it tells me a lot when you look a person in the eye,” he said to Neil Cavuto. “He’s a man’s man first and foremost, you know, you can’t pretty much, you know, put him to the side and expect anything less than a good fight.”

When it comes to the mayoral race, which political party will Booker T be representing?

“I haven’t, you know, declared, affiliated a party or anything like that. If your father was a democrat, you tend to lean that way. But, I think you have to do your research, you have to have knowledge, as far as that goes, and I think, first and foremost, I want to make sure I have all the knowledge before I make that decision.”

Editor’s Note:

Good for Booker! I hope that he puts up a great fight, and I wish him all the best as prepares to run for political office.
