Diamond Dallas Page is perhaps the most legitimately great guy in wrestling. Not only did he have an excellent run in the ring with WCW, WWE, TNA, and even Juggalo Championship Wrestling, the effectiveness of his DDP Yoga has turned many a pro wrestler’s life around.

Most famously, he helped Jake “the Snake” Roberts regain control of his life after years of drug and alcohol abuse. He invited Roberts into his home, and using the seemingly magical power of DDP Yoga, saved Jake’s life–that’s barely an ounce of hyperbole. The transformation was documented as part of a 2015 documentary called the Resurrection of Jake the Snake.

Next on DDP’s list of pro wrestling rescues? None other than Big Van Vader.

Vader was involved in a major auto accident earlier this year that brought to light heart problems the big man was facing. The doctors said he had only two years to live.

Page intends to extend that time, and has invited Vader to partake of the healing properties of DDP Yoga early next year.

According to a new interview with Vader, he’ll meet with DDP on January 2nd in Atlanta, where Page will put him on track to lose 100 pounds and ease the stress on his heart.

Diamond Dallas Page continues to be one of the most stand-up dudes in the world of wrestling, and we certainly hope he can help Vader get back to solid health.
