It’s been a phenomenal year for wrestling, and many WWE Superstars have come a long way from when it first started. Though 2016 isn’t quite over yet and there are a couple of matches left to go, Corey Graves tallied up the televised wins from the entire year and ranked the top 5 wrestlers overall.

The New Day became the longest reigning tag team championships this year, which meant they had to win a lot of matches along the way. Out of all those, Big E snagged the most pins, putting him at number 5 on the list with 30 wins.

Kevin Owens is ending the year as the WWE Universal Champion and he has 31 wins under his belt. Roman Reigns got a pretty rough start to the year, but he quickly gained momentum, racking up 33 wins and holding onto the WWE United States title.

What’s most interesting to note is that Dean Ambrose and AJ Styles tied for the number one spot, each earning 37 wins over the course of 2016. Who would’ve thought when AJ Styles made his WWE debut in January or when Dean Ambrose won Money in the Bank in June that they’d have such a banner year.
