You Won’t Believe Becky Lynch’s Latest, Most Dangerous Opponent

Wrestlers have feuds with other wrestlers. Typically one makes a slight against the other, or somebody wants a championship, and the pair dukes it out over the course of several matches to determine who’s the better grappler.

But sometimes, feuds go beyond wrestling. They go beyond championships, main events, rematches, and tests of endurance. Sometimes, you have to do battle with a can opener.

Such was the case with Becky Lynch earlier this week, who found herself having so much difficulty opening a can of pineapple that she streamed out her struggle for all the world to see.

We laughed, we cried, we wondered how it was possible for a successful pro wrestler to have so much difficulty with a simple kitchen implement. Relive the entire struggle for yourself here.

I won’t spoil the results for you here, but I have to ask–would Becky have been more successful under a mask?

Becky, of course, will be battling Alexa Bliss for the SmackDown Women’s Championship next week. We can’t help but wonder, though–will the scars of her epic battle against the can opener slow her down in the upcoming title match?
