UFC has posted a couple of videos in which Brock Lesnar speaks, following his victory over Mark Hunt at last night’s UFC 200 event.

In this first video, Lesnar comments on his victory over Mark Hunt, what is future plans are, having fun in The Octagon, and being a bully. Below are the highlights from the video:

He began by saying “Brock Lesnar does what Brock Lesnar wants to do.” He went on to say that his future for the next month is laid out with his match against Randy Orton at SummerSlam, but after that, he doesn’t know what he’s going to do, but that he had “one hell of a time tonight,” and that he really enjoyed himself.

Lesnar would then discuss Mark Hunt. He wasn’t sure if Hunt landed his best shots or not, but he said that the mystery’s gone as to whether he could take a punch. Lesnar would then say that he was grateful for his team for helping him return on a short notice after a 5 year absence. He stuck to the game plan, took some good shots, and that Hunt “never knocked the f***” out of him.”

He would go on to admit that he had a lot of nerves heading into the fight, but that he had to keep an open mind. He said that MMA is 85-90% a mental game and if you put the work in, good things will happen. He said that he was excited to be back, and hadn’t had that much fun in a long time.

Lesnar then said that he has always been a bully. Not necessarily picking on anyone, but he likes getting his nose dirty and never turned down a fight. He said his mom would chew his ass out after he said that he would go into town looking for fights, and she said that if “he’s going to fight, he might as well earn some money at it.” Lesnar said that the decision was tough when he decided to make his comeback, but that “if you don’t stick your neck out, you’re never going to get ahead.”

A second video was posted which was a backstage interview following the press conference. Below are the highlights from that interview:

He would begin by saying that words can’t describe the feeling that he had to make his return. He’s been out of the cage for 5 years, and to put on a performance against the #8 ranked fighter in the world left him speechless.

Lesnar went on to say that in his training for the fight, he took some shots on the chin from some hard hitting heavyweights. They tested his fortitude and confidence. He was cautious in the second round, but he was going to play his game and not Mark Hunt’s.

They went on to discuss his comfort level and lightness on his feet. Lesnar said that they trained for this, and that he went back to his wrestling days to change positions and make adjustments on the fly. He said that after being out of the cage for so long, he was happy that he was able to come in and put on three rounds, and be as successful as he was.

They then discussed his cardio training for the fight. He said that’s difficult to focus on cardio because it’s MMA, but that they prepared for all different positions and strategies. He then said “I’ve been out of the game for five years. To put this all together and make all the stars align, who the f*** else could do it? I’m telling you man, not too many people could do it, be out of the game for five years and step in the cage and put a camp together.”

He continued, “I’m surrounded by a lot of good people, that just goes to show [that] I have a lot of people behind me, a lot of people who love me and all the support. I couldn’t have done it without them. You can’t say anything else.”

He concluded by saying that his match with Randy Orton at “SummerSlam” was next for him.
