Kevin Owens Roasts Brock Lesnar During WWE Live Event

Before Randy Orton was announced as Brock Lesnar’s opponent for “Summerslam,” Kevin Owens was rumored to be in the running for that role at the “biggest event of the summer.”

However, Orton was chosen over Owens, so now the latter needs a date for “Summerslam,” but that doesn’t mean he has moved on from Brock Lesnar quickly.

According to a report from Wrestlezone.com, Kevin Owens “roasted” or took an unprovoked shot at Brock Lesnar last night during a recent WWE live event.

Before a match with Sami Zayn, Owens spotted fan in attendance wearing a Brock Lesnar shirt to which Owens addressed and said, “Why don’t you take off that Brock Lesnar shirt and get a shirt of somebody who’s actually a professional wrestler?”

There are few heels better in the business than Kevin Owens right now. Lesnar vs. Owens would have been a great draw for the “Summerslam” card, but it is very understandable why WWE chose Orton instead.

Obviously, WWE has something planned for Kevin Owens going into the second biggest PPV of the year, so we’ll just have to wait and see what WWE officials have planned for him.
