Breaking News: John Cena and Nikki Bella Break Up; End Their Engagement

I did not see this one coming.

According to an exclusive interview with US Weekly, John Cena and Nikki Bella have ended their engagement and are splitting up after 6 years as a couple. It is unknown for the reason of their separation at this time.

The pair released a statement regarding their current status:

“While this decision was a difficult one, we continue to have a great deal of love and respect for one another,” the couple tells Us in a statement. “We ask that you respect our privacy during this time in our lives.”

Perhaps the most notable moment in their relationship was when Cena proposed to Bella following their match at WrestleMania 33. The pair teamed up to defeat the team of The Miz and Maryse.

Wow. This is huge. I honestly would have never seen this one coming in a million years. I certainly hope that the two can continue to remain friends and be able to work together in a professional capacity, as their paths will certainly be intertwined for years to come.
