In the main event of “SummerSlam” this year, Brock Lesnar was so vicious with Randy Orton, that he caused “The Viper” to bleed profusely after hitting him with an elbow. The referee eventually stopped the match, and awarded Lesnar the victory via TKO.

This match has caused quite a stir over social media, as several people have questioned whether this was the planned finish or not. There has also been many people wondering if Orton knew what was going to happen to him before the match began.

According to The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Orton was not told about the planned finish until he arrived to the arena. Upon his arrival, he learned that the plan was to make Lesnar look strong, and that the original plan was for “The Beast Incarnate” to destroy Orton, and in fact, make him bleed. It was supposed to look like Lesnar went “off the script,” and the officials were to be confused. Orton was supposed to act concussed, and the referee would stop the match.

In addition, Orton was told that Lesnar knew how to graze him with an elbow, and bust him open without hurting him. However, Lesnar ended up throwing some really hard shots, that caused Orton to bleed way more than originally intended. Orton needed 10 staples to close the cut after the match.

Orton did what he was supposed to do, and stayed down and acted like he was knocked out, despite the copious amount of blood that came from his head. The referees and medical personnel at ringside acted confused, because they were.

It is being rumored that although the referee knew that Lesnar was going to win, he was given a different scenario as to how the match would actually end.

The report also says that Vince McMahon treats Lesnar much differently than everyone else. While nobody else in the company is allowed to bleed, Lesnar’s matches are supposed to have blood. Also, nobody, except a very select few, including the referee, know how his matches are supposed to end.
